On Viadurini you will find many reproductions of the most famous frescoes and paintings, hand-painted by Bottega Tifernate. Bottega Tifernate patented a special technique, the “Pictografia”, which allows the painter to reproduce faithfully even the smallest details of the original artwork.
Thanks to this technique, you will be able to decorate your house with faithful hand-painted copies (even if the term copy is extremely reductive!) of worldwide famous painters and artists, such as Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Gozzoli, Botticelli, Perugino, Raphael, Pinturicchio, Melozzo da Forlì, Mantegna, Canaletto, Van Wittel, Cimabue, Francesco Mancini, Masaccio, Van Gogh, Klimt, Vermeer, Monet, Degas, Hayez, and many more. Any piece of art can be replicated!
Pictografia: the technique
This special technique has been conceived and developed to exhibit faithful copies instead of the original works of art. Each painting is hand-painted by using ancient procedures.
Their long-lasting quality is outstanding. The aesthetic outcome is the result of the collaboration with the most famous museums all over the world. Any image and picture can be reproduced without limitations. Pictografia consists in the analysis of the original masterpiece, both in its materials and colours, and its subsequent reproduction on fresco, canvas or panel.
The plaster base of the fresco is made of sand and lime, while the canvas and the panel are treated with Bologna chalk and hot natural glue. During the manufacturing process, waste materials and harmful substancies are not produced.
Natural colour technique.
Being oxide-based, the colours used are extremely long-lasting and higly resistant to adverse environmental conditions.
Each retouch is made by hand both on every single piece and on the whole painting, in order to recreate the brightness and the depth of the original.
Embossing is hand-made by using chalk and natural glues.
