Difference between coaxial and mechanical thermostatic mixer : with the
mechanical mixer, to increase or decrease the temperature of the water supplied, you must intervene manually to increase or decrease the flow of hot or cold water. Therefore, of the two knobs, one will be used for regulating the flow of cold water, and one for that of hot water.
With the
thermostatic mixer this operation takes place automatically, setting only the water temperature. One knob can then be used to set the desired water temperature, while the other knob will be used to adjust the flow of water (more or less abundant).
